In fact, ultraviolet rays cause the "grayed wood" effect which inevitably makes the parquet less beautiful.

Added to this phenomenon are humidity, any liquid stains and, in the case of external floors, rain. The combined action of water and light further accelerates the aging and degradation process, causing the wood to turn grey.

Grayed wood: how to regain the color of the wood

Can grayed wood return to its former glory? Absolutely yes! Just use the right products to make it perfect. Grey-Remove di New Chemical Prevention, for example, is a cleaner for grayed wood. It is a useful detergent for removing old gray films and tannin stains. In a few simple steps it returns the surface to its original color, erasing the signs of aging.

This cleaning solution is great for removing old gray patinas (polyphenols) or tannin stains which are caused by water stagnation, but also by the normal degradation process caused by atmospheric agents. The product, the result of careful studies and green chemistry, can be used on numerous wooden surfaces. Not only parquet floors, but also vertical structures.

The product is easy to use on numerous types of wood. It also allows you to remove old tannin stains, is economical and restores the wood to its original shade. Plus it works on all the grayed woods, does not affect the treatment of the wood and is also effective on painted wood.

How does it work? First it is fundamental shake the product, making sure to operate with a temperature between +10°C and +30°C. If you want to remove tannin stains, the product must be spread on the surface, keeping the stained strip wet at all times. You will then need to leave it on for two hours and rinse with water.
